DNA CINEMATOGRAFIA : born in Livorno in 1999 with the aim of relaunch the old propulsive role of the city in the entertainment field; since 2001 its based in Turin too. The founders are the director Simone Orlandini, who heads and is the president of the production company since the beginning, the drama-writer Marco Leone and the producer Laura Pilone. Afterwards, the company is joined by the director Mauro Misul, the Japanese film critic Kaori Ischikawa, the educational psychologist Luciana Moreschi and the director of photography Giorgio Meini. Since the beginning until today, the society has produced 13 movies and published 6 books with the DNA BOOK; it also has paid particular attention to the international co-productions interested in researching new expressive entertainment ways out.
